Not only does Ed Zigler give us the history of the entire early childhood field’s connection with pre-kindergarten, but he investigates it from a policy, research, and philosophical mode.
Even though all parts of this book are superb, the most explemplary part is when he analyzes in DETAIL the many different longitudinal research designs on preK that have occurred over the past fifty years. He highlights the pluses and the minuses of each study.
Definitely worth purchasing.
